Mr. Ravinder Chander Prem is a seasoned industry leader with over 36 years of experience in domestic and international sales, operations, and leadership within the Tools, Precision engineering and manufacturing sector. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has held several key leadership positions, including Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer at Forbes & Company Limited & Board Member in group subsidiaries where he played a pivotal role in driving business growth, operational excellence, and technology-led transformation.

Mr. Prem has also made significant contributions to the industry at large, having served as the President of the Indian Cutting Tools Manufacturers’ Association (ICTMA) for three consecutive years, working closely with industry stakeholders to strengthen India’s precision manufacturing ecosystem.

Currently, as the Managing Director of Birla Precision Technologies Limited (BPTL), Mr. Prem is focused on strengthening the company’s market presence, enhancing production efficiency, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. His leadership vision is centered on positioning BPTL as a benchmark for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring sustainable, long-term value creation for all stakeholders.

He holds an MBA in Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Operations Management, along with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
